Unix / Linux Systems Engineer – Location : Madrid (Hybrid client site near Plaza Castilla). Priority : Critical. Language Requirement : Spanish Professional Proficiency.

Job Description : We are urgently seeking an experienced Unix / Linux Systems Engineer with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in complex technical environments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, capable of engaging with both client stakeholders and internal technical teams. This role requires advanced expertise in system design, deployment, hardening, and automation, with a clear vision for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage complex Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
• Perform advanced system administration, including hardening, security patching, and performance monitoring.
• Implement and manage Linux environments (RedHat and Ubuntu) with a focus on automation using Ansible.
• Deploy and maintain Linux management consoles (e.g., Red Hat Satellite).
• Administer email relays using Postfix.
• Manage LDAP systems and HA Proxy-based load balancing.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure asset protection and compliance.
• Contribute to the automation of operational processes.
• Support infrastructure hosted in IaaS environments on Azure or AWS (basic knowledge desirable).
