About the Team

The Workday HCM team is responsible for the strategic configuration, optimisation and maintenance of our core Human Capital Management system. Our mission is to ensure the Workday platform is efficient, accurate and perfectly aligned with our business needs and user experience goals.

The Role

We are seeking a senior Workday HCM Functional Analyst to join our HR systems team in Madrid. The role works closely with People Operations, providing functional and technical support across our Workday applications – Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Learning, People Analytics and Peakon.

The Work You’ll Do

• Lead design, development and delivery of scalable features for Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Learning, People Analytics and Peakon.
• Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders – gather requirements, propose solutions and integrate cross‑functional needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests and technical issues on the platform.
• Evaluate and improve existing solutions, recommending technical enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide regular updates on project status, task priorities and implementation complexity.
• Mentor and educate peers on best practices, functionality and cross‑platform dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with the ServiceNow team, Workday Finance team and IT infrastructure teams to design and implement cross‑platform solutions and integrations.
