This has been led by the renowned international investment fund Creandum, with the invaluable support of our partners Samaipata, 4Founders Capital, VentureFriends, Hugo Arévalo and Martin Blessing.As a Senior AI Engineer, you will join our Data team to accelerate Embat’s AI strategy and reinforce our position as a leading AI-powered fintech in Europe.This is a hands-on, product-centric engineering role. You will work directly with data scientists, data engineers and product squads to design and build advanced multi-agent AI assistants like TellMe, our transversal AI assistant that automates decision-making and operational workflows across treasury, finance, and operations.You’ll play a pivotal role in developing new AI capabilities that directly impact our customers and internal teams — and help Embat stay at the forefront of generative AI innovation in fintech.What will you do?- Build and deploy advanced multi-agent AI assistants like TellMe, both customer-facing and internal.- Translate business problems into AI solutions with tangible customer value.- Drive improvement of our AI models for transaction enrichment, accounting, and forecasting — applying cutting-edge approaches (RAG, fine-tuning, LLM orchestration…).- Own the usage and performance metrics of your models and features.- Collaborate closely with product and QA teams to ensure quality and reliability.- Coordinate cross-squad AI integration and evangelize AI best practices across the company.- Contribute to shaping the AI roadmap and identifying new use cases.- Stay up to date on industry trends to maintain Embat’s AI edge. What are we looking for?- 6–8 years of experience as an engineer, ideally in fast-paced tech environments.- Strong experience in Python, LLMs, RAG techniques, and AI Agents.- Deep understanding of how to design AI products from a customer and business value perspective — not just from a research standpoint.- You are both a builder and a problem-solver. You enjoy creating solutions and own their impact.- You’re curious, proactive, and up to date with the latest AI technologies.- You love working in cross-functional teams and care about delivering quality.- You are comfortable working in English and collaborating with international peers.- Strong communication and structured thinking- You speak Spanish fluently and have a working level of English- Educational background in Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Physics, or similar.Bonus if you have : - Experience working with cloud platforms (we use GCP), APIs, or modern ML pipelines.- Previous exposure to fintech or enterprise SaaS.- Experience developing AI products with real usage and adoption.
