Technical Support Scientist
to join our OEM Operations team. This role is ideal for a scientifically minded professional who enjoys designing experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating across functions in a highly regulated, quality-driven environment.
As a Technical Support Scientist, you will perform a broad range of technical and analytical activities to ensure the optimal performance of our diagnostic products. You will provide specialized scientific and technical support to Production, R&D, and Quality Control teams, contributing to product improvement, troubleshooting, and the successful transfer of new products from development to manufacturing. This position focuses on experiment design, data analysis, and interpretation. Hands-on laboratory testing will be executed by technicians, although strong laboratory knowledge is required. Design experiments and define appropriate analytical or experimental methods for specific projects. Analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions from experimental and performance data. Prepare and present results and technical reports to senior staff. Write and review laboratory procedures and documentation in compliance with GMP and ISO standards. Support activities related to Non-Conformities (NCs), CAPAs, and continuous improvement projects. Collaborate with R&D, QA, Production, and other departments to ensure product quality and consistency. Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field. ~(Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally within a regulated setting (GMP, ISO 13485, FDA). ~ Strong knowledge of biological and chemical laboratory techniques and diagnostic products (IBDR). ~ Familiarity with MS Office; SAP experience is a plus. ~ Fluent in Spanish or Catalan, with advanced English skills (written and spoken). ~ At Werfen, you’ll join a collaborative, innovation-driven culture where science meets purpose.
