With your talent and ambition, we can do even more to protect people from diseases and bring hope to patients and their families. Your job, as category Buyer R&D and analytical service within our External Manufacturing Procurement will be to ensure the selection of high‑quality CDMOs for R&D in alignment with our commercial manufacturing strategy. Your fact‑based negotiations and performance‑based contracting will safeguard our company’s interests while driving value across the entire supply chain.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies ensuring global participation, alignment, and adoption.
• Market Analysis, Spend Analysis, RFI / RFP / RFQ, Supplier Evaluation, Contract Negotiation, Risk Management, Compliance.
• Align with Finance and the Business to capture and monitor external budget spends and savings.
• Assemble successful cross functional teams to develop cost modeling and analytics, evaluate total cost, total savings potential, sourcing options, regulatory / legal / quality impact, and production / operation impact of sourcing opportunities.
• Drive and manage change and process efficiencies.

Experience

5-7 years in Procurement preferably Pharmaceutical Industry
