IAHR is looking for a dynamic and experienced Communications and Marketing Manager to join its Global Secretariat. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of IAHR’s communication strategy , enhance global visibility , and engage a diverse community of water professionals and stakeholders.

About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our communication strategy . You will lead our marketing campaigns , evaluate our communication performance metrics , and collaborate with internal teams . You will have a strong communication background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

1- Coordinate and implement IAHR communications by :

Drafting annual communications plans for approval

Drafting multi-year communications strategies for approval

Coordinating and liaising as necessary with IAHR staff and external stakeholders

Implementing the approved communications strategies and plans in a timely, professional, and high-quality manner.

Daily communications operations

2- Ensure effective outreach to IAHR membership and other target audiences

3- Take care of writing , editing and preparing other communications materials

4- Support the growth of IAHR by developing IAHR branding and communications standards and related materials, implementing marketing and advertising related activities and revenue streams

5-Support the smooth functioning of the Global Secretariat and the Madrid Office

Qualifications and Skills

Educated to degree level , preferably in a science subject area : marketing , communications , media or journalism

5+ years' experience as communications and marketing manager

Ability to multi-task

Strong verbal , written , and organizational skills

Experience in managing websites

Graphic design skills and experience of creating promotional literature , advertising or artwork

Experience in measuring the impact of communications products and the ability to change strategies accordingly

A network of contacts in the media and the ability to effectively manage media relations

Up to 36000€ gross / annual (depending on experience)
