Finance and Accounting Specialist (Remote)

As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of our client by ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant accounting practices. You will support informed decision-making by providing precise financial data, safeguarding assets, and contributing to the organization's overall fiscal health and success.
Your Tasks
- Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks to maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the timely closure of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Record transactions from bank statements and ensure bank accounts are aligned to keep financial records accurate.
- Maintain the standard chart of accounts and cost centre / department categorization.
- Handle Accounts Payable / Receivable : process daily payments, ensure timely transactions, schedule payables based on payment terms, and monitor receivables.
- Handle various accounting queries and projects to provide timely resolutions to the Head of Finance.
- Prepare payroll for employees, ensuring accurate calculation and timely disbursement.
- Ensure the client's accounting tool, Microsoft Dynamics / Navision, is up-to-date and accurately reflects all financial transactions.
- Lead and coordinate bookkeeping for different legal entities, collaborating with external accounting firms for monthly / quarterly filings.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports.
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Prepare tax information for different jurisdictions and coordinate filings with external partners.
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and suggest practical improvements.
Key Requirements
Completed an economics / finance degree and possess a finance and accounting specialization.CPA certification.2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.Proficiency in English.Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.Effective organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Interest in the longevity industry and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle is advantageous.Why Join Them
