The Role We are looking for a Finance Controller with a clear analytical mindset, a strong focus on efficiency and attention to detail, and solid experience in analyzing, justifying, and discussing cost and expense variances with business stakeholders.
In addition to strong analytical capabilities, this person should be able to propose improvement action plans, negotiate with clarity and assertiveness, and report findings and recommendations directly to management in a structured and rigorous manner.
Responsibilities Closing & Reporting
Preparation of analytical closing and monthly consolidated reporting
Ensure accurate and consistent financial information
Budgetary Control & Cost Management
Analysis of cost and expense deviations (head office and subsidiaries)
Direct discussions with business managers to justify and correct deviations
Propose specific corrective actions
Structured reporting of deviations and action plans to management
KPIs & Efficiency
Define and monitor performance indicators
Continuously improve control systems
Internal Control & Audit
Evaluate financial processes and propose improvements
Reporting & Management Support
Draft financial and analytical reports
Deliver clear, strategic presentations to senior management
Requirements Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields
Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles in controlling or auditing
Advanced Excel skills
Power BI and strong SAP knowledge (desirable)
Advanced English
Analytical, assertive, and influential profile with strong business acumen
