We are looking to expand the Quality department with the addition of a :
QUALITY COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Quality Director, the primary mission of the Quality Coordinator is to lead the daily quality control operations and ensure all manufactured products meet stringent customer and regulatory requirements. This involves coordinating quality processes across production lines, satellite plants, and engineering teams to proactively establish a "right first time" culture and implement robust corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence of quality issues.
This role includes direct supervision of a team of Quality Technicians / Inspectors.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations :
- Problem Solving : Understand the root cause of the main quality issues (customer rejections, complaints, internal Non-Conformities (NC's), scrap, etc.).
- Corrective Actions : Implement robust corrective actions and verify their effectiveness to avoid recurrence.
- Preventive Actions : Implement preventive actions and standardize learnt lessons / good practices across the production lines.
- Production Collaboration : Coordinate closely with Production to implement a "right first time" culture and "error-proofing initiatives," while improving the understanding of customer requirements.
- Process Improvement : Coordinate work with Process Engineers on Continuous Improvement projects such as FOD (Foreign Object Debris), vision systems , and Nadcap initiatives.
- Standardization : Coordinate work with Satellite Plants in standardization plans.
- Documentation & Audits : Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and participate in internal / external quality audits.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Experience
Degree in Engineering is required.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a demanding industrial environment.Experience in leading or coordinating a technical team (Quality Technicians / Inspectors).Experience coordinating projects and standardization plans with different departments and Satellite Plants .Technical Skills & Quality Expertise
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in data software’s for analysis and reporting (e.g., advanced Excel, Minitab, database systems).Strong knowledge of Statistical or Six Sigma methodologies.Expertise in formal Problem Solving tools (e.g., 8D methodology, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) to understand the root cause of issues (NC’s, scrap, complaints) and implement robust, effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Familiarity with continuous improvement processes and projects like FOD (Foreign Object Debris), vision systems , and Nadcap initiatives.Soft Skills & Language
English speaking is mandatory (high professional proficiency, both written and verbal).Excellent coordination and collaboration skills to work closely with Production and Process Engineers.Proactive leader capable of promoting a “right first time” culture and driving error-proofing initiatives .Highly Valued
Certification in Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).Experience as an Internal Auditor for Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).WHAT WE OFFER :
