Meet The Team
The Commercial Excellence team enhances efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance in commercial operations of all sales teams across the globe and driving competitive demand generation. The Commercial Excellence Director operates as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and utilizes strategic and operational insights, and executive level problem solving, communication and leadership skills to drive organizational action that leads to tangible growth. The Director Commercial Excellence integrates sales, marketing, and operational inputs into a cohesive, data-driven go-to-market strategy - foundational for Dexcom's success in increasingly complex and competitive markets.
The Director of Commercial Excellence will be responsible for EMEA / LatAm Sales Operations.
The position can be filled in Spain or Ireland only. Relocation will be supported.
Responsibilities
You will lead the Commercial Excellence strategy and execution for growth in EMEA & LATAM regions
You will drive sales effectiveness initiatives in collaboration with the global Sales Process Excellence team
You will lead development and deployment of Dexcom's regional go-to-market model, integrating field force design, segmentation, customer targeting, and territory optimization
You will establish a data-driven performance management system to assess business impact. You will define and drive a holistic commercial engagement approach across sales, marketing, medical, and other customer-facing teams
You will oversee operating mechanisms for field force sizing, alignments, targeting, and segmentation. You will partner with Cluster and Country leaders to adapt execution locally while maintaining global strategic consistency
You will serve as the business owner for CRM within EMEA & LATAM, coordinating with field teams on all CRM-related initiatives. You will translate global commercial frameworks into regionalized execution plans with cross-functional alignment
You will collaborate closely with sales leadership and functional heads to understand their business and reporting requirements. You own customer engagement planning and CRM tool execution (e.g., Veeva / SFDC) tailored to regional needs
You ensure the delivery, accuracy, and reporting of data for sales analytics and insights. You define performance tracking standards and incentive strategies aligned with regional growth goals
You provide ad-hoc analyses to support the commercial execution of strategic plans. Act as a strategic thought partner to regional leadership, shaping the commercial roadmap with data-driven insights
You partner with IT, Business Intelligence, Forecasting, and other teams to enhance operational reporting, data measurement, analysis, and data quality, and identify automation opportunities
You continuously evaluate and implement incentive compensation plans in conjunction with the global team.

Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 120 km).
