Content Design at Preply :

At Preply, we know words have the power to open up the world. Learning a new language can be life-changing, and our mission is to make the experience as easy and delightful as possible.

Content Design is a small but mighty discipline embedded in the Design Chapter. You’ll lead a team of 2-3 content designers, and be tasked with growing and upskilling the team. You’ll partner with design, product, and brand leads to plan work and build a shared vision. And you’ll report to our Design Director, who will help guide you and set you up for success.

We care deeply about creating a safe and inclusive space. So we’ll be looking for you to share a vision for how our content designers can develop and thrive.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a team of content designers, from recruiting, resourcing, and prioritizing work, to leading rituals and mentoring
• Creating processes and guidelines that level up our efficiency, quality, and impact
• Running crits, workshops, and training sessions that help our content designers improve their craft
• Taking a birds-eye view of content at Preply, prioritizing the right problems to solve, removing blockers, and spotting opportunities for your team to have impact
• Partnering with design, brand, and product leads to define and achieve business goals and build a vision for language at Preply
