Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our multicultural engineering team in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact as a senior developer while working on a large-scale application trusted by a diverse customer base which includes more than 200 multi‐national companies and global trade banks.

Key Responsibilities

Test‐driven development mindset, ensuring comprehensive unit, integration, and regression testing

Understand and analyse user needs, translating them into clear system design and implementation requirements

Develop clean, well‐documented, tested, and extensible code that aligns with business objectives

Collaborate with the Product team to design and implement user‐friendly experiences and scalable APIs for integration capabilities

Support the Customer Success team by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software issues

Contribute to continuous improvement of the technical stack by proposing and specifying architectural and tooling enhancements

Required Skills

Technical Skills

5+ years of professional Java development experience

Strong proficiency in Java and enterprise Java frameworks (Spring)

Experience with Postgres Database, including SQL optimization and performance tuning

Proficiency with JSF for front‐end development

Experience with application refactoring, legacy code modernization, and technical debt reduction

Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices

Proficiency with CI / CD pipelines, and automated testing

Experience with Kubernetes on AWS

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

Strong mentoring and coaching abilities

Experience working in multicultural teams

Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail

Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success
