Technical Security Consultant (Qualys)

We are seeking a skilled Technical Security Consultant with hands-on experience in Qualys Vulnerability Management and Policy Compliance to support the deployment, documentation, and monitoring of security tools across IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Qualys solutions for vulnerability and compliance management.
• Provide technical support to IT administrators during the implementation phase.
• Document deployment processes, configurations, and post-deployment monitoring procedures.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and communicate findings to local IT teams.
• Assist in resolving technical issues or support cases related to the tools.
• Conduct unit testing and provide evidence of successful implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

Experience

Experience Required : 3+ years of experience in IT Security or Cybersecurity roles. Hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management and Policy Compliance modules (VM, PC). Proven track record in the deployment and configuration of vulnerability scanning and compliance tools. Experience in technical documentation and creation of operational procedures (SOPs, runbooks). Background supporting IT infrastructure teams in securing systems and remediating vulnerabilities.
