Overview
SEEKING : GCP Cloud Lead Security. We are looking for a GCP Cloud Lead Security. The GCP Cloud Lead Security will be responsible for defining low level strategy and configurations and supporting in the deployment of security solutions as part of GCP Cloud Strategy (Data Migration, Endpoint protection including server protection, Cloud App Security, Identity Protection, CSPM, CIEM, Workload protection) and security for GCP-based projects.
Responsibilities
Oversee and define technical strategy (low level design) and configurations for security solutions associated with GCP environments, including Endpoints protection against real-time malware, threat blocking, and attack surface reduction including endpoint data loss prevention.
Implement strict IAM policies to ensure that only authorized users access cloud resources.
Manage anomalies, App adaptive access, device compliance and access control.
Cover infrastructure security (serverless, containers, IaaS, PaaS, databases) and Cloud App Security (SaaS).
Define GCP policies and security governance, and posture management (cloud compliance).
Manage WAF / DDoS, privilege access management, file integrity monitoring, and integration of logs with SIEM for monitoring.
Define use case scenarios for monitoring GCP apps with the SOC; strategy for AI in GCP Cloud.
Act as an operational partner and report to the client’s Global CISO.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Proven work experience as a Security Engineer or GCP Platform Security Expert or similar role, with strong technical background in IT security technologies across infrastructure, applications, data, cloud, and network communications.
Experience in complex multi-country, multi-cultural environments and migrations moving high-volume databases to cloud-native solutions.
Stays up to date with latest security threats and solutions; strong time management and organizational skills.
Experience with Linux and / or Windows OS, coding languages, and / or networks.
Experience with major ERP systems (SAP) and broad experience deploying them.
Strong experience with GCP and other cloud vendors (Microsoft, AWS); data-oriented mindset.
Excellent technical, analytical and project management skills; strong leadership and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication skills; ability to convey IT architecture and data strategy to technical and business audiences.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking; ability to work under pressure and in a global team environment.
Ability to work independently and proactively contribute to a global team; capable of bringing stakeholders along in decisions.
Language : Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills (minimum C1).
Industry certifications from vendors (ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council, CompTIA, ITIL, CompTIA Security+).
Experience in security products including firewalls, URL filtering, information security and EDR / XDR / NDR, including Microsoft E5 and GCP security; knowledge of OT / ICS trends and data encryption concepts; OWASP Top 10 awareness; compliance standards (NIST, SANS, CIS, ENISA, UNE, GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
Understanding of Identity and Access Management, Application Security, cryptography, Secure Software Development Lifecycle, security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
Education & Language
English : Fluent with strong written and verbal communication skills (minimum C1).

Rate : EUR 320 – EUR 360 per day + VAT (according to proven experience)
Long term project with recurring engagements
Location : Madrid - Alcobendas (Hybrid 50% in person, 50% teleworking per week)
