ForREWE digital Spaina subsidiary of the REWE Group, located at Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for anBusiness Analystfor theFinancial Accounting and Asset Management team.As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems inREWE Digital Spainwe plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for theREWE Group, one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europewith around 390,000 employees.

Our team of over 2,200 IT specialists sets standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and develops new technologies for the sector.

Currently, we manage more than 80 logistics centers, 100 wide area network cables, and over 23,000 local network connections to ensure continuous data supply to the 32,000 scanner check-out desks in more than 7,500 stores.The product Accounting & Asset-Management covers topics related to general ledger accounting and asset accounting.

General ledger accounting documents and analyzes business transactions that occur within a company, such as income from services, material purchases, labor costs, impairment of assets due to wear and tear, and much more.

Records are kept in chronological order.

Taken as a whole, general ledger accounting forms the basis for profit determination, quarterly financial statements, and annual financial statements.

You play an active role in the resulting projects for the further development of the IT landscape and drive innovation forward, covering topics such as :

• Document types, number ranges, and open item clearing for high transaction volumes
• Attaching documents to FI-postings and ensuring proper archiving for audit and compliance
• Document splitting and default profit center assignment for multi-brand and multi-country operationsYou design the best IT solutions, whether for large-scale projects or small change requests from the departments, by aligning the requirements of stakeholders, technical requirements of our SAP systems and projects, and requirements of our general IT strategy including security-relevant aspectsDesign and implement solutions using Business Transaction Events for custom processes and support the transition of e-Document functionalities inS / 4HANAto comply with European regulations.Ensure readiness forSAF-T- related digital compliance in new systems and contribute to defining theAdvanced Financial Closing strategy in S / 4HANA .

Improve the Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation process during and after migration, also managing VAT, withholding tax, and tax disclosures with S / 4HANA tools such as Tax Compliance and Document & Reporting Compliance.Oversee integration topics forFI-postingsinitiated by external systems—from traditional IDocs to modern APIs fitting our retail and travel tech stackApply your knowledge ofextended asset accounting processes , supporting everything from store investments to digital assetsEnsure a smooth transition of Asset Accounting functionsto S / 4HANA, including parallel valuation, asset lifecycles, and integration with controllingSupport fixed asset processes across multiple countries and legal entities , taking into account local GAAP, IFRS, and group-wide reporting requirementsWhat you will bringExperience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or similar role in Finance / Accounting, ideally with exposure to S / 4HANA projects

Solid knowledge of SAP FI (or S / 4HANA Finance) and related modules

Interest in legal and regulatory topics like e-Document requirements, SAF-T, and tax compliance

Understanding of migration challenges and opportunities in moving from legacy SAP systems to S / 4HANA

Deep understanding of Asset Accounting (FI-AA)in SAP, including legacy transfers, depreciation areas, and S / 4HANA-specific enhancements

Experience supportingcomplex fixed asset structures , ideally in an international or multi-brand environment

Familiarity withlocal and international accounting standardsrelevant to asset accounting (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP)

A passion for transforming business needs into sustainable solutions

Excellent communication skills in English; German or other languages are a plus
