Financial Controller

OVERVIEW :

Leading global operator specialized in the complete management of renewable assets for electricity generation is looking for a Financial Controller to join our Iberian Business Unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

As part of the Iberia team, this position will be responsible for the following :

• Support local finance teams with closeout processes and the implementation of new procedures and group policies.
• Analyze deviations from the budget / forecast.
• Calculate intercompany fees.
• Calculate cost re-invoicing between group companies.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with all requirements and supervise timely reporting of year-end accounts by local controllers to the Group Controller Department and local statutory authorities.
• Assist in preparing year-end consolidated and statutory financial statements.
• Collaborate with M&A and tax departments on business combinations (project acquisitions and sales).
• Conduct treasury consolidated reporting analysis.
• Manage FX and guarantees.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
