Financial controller

OVERVIEW : Leading global operator specialised in the complete management of renewable assets for the generation of electricity is looking for a Financial Controller to join our Iberian Business Unit.RESPONSIBILITIES : As part of the Iberia team this position will be accountable for the followingtasks : Support local finance teams with closeout processes and implementation of new procedures and group policiesAnalysis of deviations from the budget / forecastCalculation of intercompany feesCalculation of cost re-invoicing between group companiesCollaborate with the Auditors to ensure proper compliance with all requirements and supervise that local controllers timely report the year-end accounts to the Group Controller Department and to the Local Statutory authoritiesAssist in the preparation of the year end consolidated and some statutory financial StatementsCollaboration with M& A and tax departments in business combinations (project acquisition and sales).Treasury consolidated reporting analysisFX and guarantees managementOther ad-hoc duties.QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE : Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.+3 years of professional experience in auditing (IFRS GAAP knowledge)Ideally with experience in a Big 4 company.Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.Advanced level of English, both spoken and writtenSOFT SKILLS : AnalyticalProblem-solvingProactiveTeam spiritFRV is an equal-opportunity employer.
