The Project Manager oversees project execution from planning and resource allocation to risk assessment and delivery, working closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and external partners. Plan and coordinate R&D projects aligned with technology roadmaps Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and KPIs Review work from junior engineers (layout, process, and design) to ensure quality standards Establish and track project schedules, milestones, and budgets using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, ClickUp) Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders Support business development and technical marketing with expertise on GaN technology and project outcomes Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Applied Physics, Photonics, Materials Science, Optoelectronics, or a related field (business / project management training is an advantage) Minimum 7 years of experience managing semiconductor R&D projects Proven project management experience in the semiconductor, photonics, or advanced technology sectors Technical and Management Skills : epitaxial growth, etching, metallization, packaging, characterization) Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Microsoft Project) with ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in technical project contexts Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Hands-on experience with optical / electrical test setups (optical spectrum analyzers, probe stations, power meters) Experience with device simulation tools (Lumerical, Silvaco, COMSOL) for optical, electrical, and thermal modeling Proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken
