Join us as a Key Accounts Manager A&H (Accidents & Health business) Spain to play an influential role in driving sales growth. Where you can make an impact : KAM A&H Spain

Focus on nurturing relationships with key clients in Spain and support their business needs. A structured approach to account management, by handling current sponsor activity and new opportunities. Onboard and takeover business won by Partnerships, communication plan with clients, sponsor relationships as well as campaign management, both digital and telemarketing. In addition to managing existing relationships, this role includes responsibility for supporting new sales (Partnerships) – actively meeting and building connections with potential partners whenever is needed.

As a Key Account Manager you will report to the Head of Digital & Direct Marketing for Iberia and collaborate with the broader Iberia team to deliver seamless customer experiences and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Client Management : Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Analyze, track and execute digital marketing and direct marketing campaigns. Oversee reporting and perform all tasks related to campaign management, both internal and external.
  • Sales & Account Development : Identify opportunities to grow existing relationships, develop growth plans, meet with partners, identify their needs, and use these insights in sales pitches. Implement and manage digital & telemarketing acquisition campaigns with current and new sponsors. Prepare marketing material for client communication. Participate in the execution of Partnerships & DDM acquisition plans and budget drivers.
  • Client Retention : Focus on persistency and retaining clients, identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts. Participate in the Telemarketing Revamp Plan and related DDM strategy to improve portfolio persistency and growth. Monitor and act on all aspects related to the P&L of accounts.
  • Operational Excellence : Manage vendor interactions (fulfillment, digital marketing agencies, digital developers, call centers, etc.). Work with development teams to set up or adapt sales platforms for sponsors or campaigns. Manage telemarketing providers and digital partners; ensure campaign targets are met. Renewals and contract updates to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk : Take ownership of client challenges, resolve them in a timely and professional manner, and comply with key regulatory and risk management responsibilities by implementing AIG underwriting policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Collaboration : Work with internal teams to meet client needs, maintain high service levels, and stay aligned with industry practices, pricing, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Measurement & Reporting : Produce accurate and timely management information for senior management and sponsors; perform market research projects; participate in product development or enhancement processes.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Relevant experience in Account Management with extensive understanding of Digital, Direct Marketing & Telemarketing.
  • Language skills : fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus).
  • Experience in developing, managing and maintaining Partnerships; solid understanding of digital marketing including web, mobile, content management, media, and advertising.
  • Understanding of embedded insurance distribution is a key differentiator.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities in prospective partners; craft and deliver compelling sales pitches to present AIG’s products and business model.
  • Ability to optimize product offerings in partner sales channels and identify opportunities for upsell and expanding product lines.
  • Proven relationship management skills and track record of achieving sales results; ability to develop and execute sales and distribution plans.
  • Strong commercial skills in analysis, planning, strategy, key relationships, and performance management.
  • Ability to analyze and monitor financial performance of accounts, budgets, forecasting, and profitability; read and analyze P&L statements.
  • Strong risk analysis and technical skills; focus on measurable success and continuous improvement.
  • Interest in digital marketing, data analytics and data-driven performance management; experience with research, analytics, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in telemarketing acquisition and lead generation; contact center management.
  • Insurtech and digital agencies relationship management; ability to establish strong relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; awareness of legal and compliance issues.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts; proficient in MS Office and digital analytics tools.
  • Ability to engage with Local & Regional Leadership and collaborate across technical, distribution and client / broker resources.
