Overview

Role : Business Development Manager

Location : UK, Spain, Denmark (Europe Focused)

This position will focus on driving the growth of a digital SaaS solution tailored for the utility-scale BESS industry. The product has a strong track record of deployment as part of wider energy solutions, but success in this role will require a strategic approach, close collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to use market feedback to enhance the platform and position it effectively.

Responsibilities

Drive growth of a digital SaaS solution for the utility-scale BESS market.

Collaborate with internal teams to align product positioning with market needs.

Leverage market feedback to enhance the platform and support go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

Essential Experience

Demonstrated success in selling digital solutions within the utility-scale BESS market

Strong presentation skills and proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders

Technical understanding sufficient to lead initial client consultations

Desired Background

Experience selling digital solutions into BESS markets in one or more of : UK, Germany, Italy, Ireland, or Spain

Track record of selling solutions into Developers, Utilities, or EPCs (in order of preference)

Previous experience in a Digital Solutions business or with a BESS OEM

Autonomy & Opportunity

This is the first role of its kind, giving you a completely blank slate to shape it in your own way. Youll have full autonomy and take complete ownership of every project, with the opportunity to define how the position evolves.
