CN & Network Senior Engineer - 5G / NTN Projects | Space Sector

Location : Madrid (Work center in Arganda del Rey)

At Exceltic , we are hiring a Core Network & Network Senior Engineer with strong telecom and satellite background to join an ambitious project involving 5G Core Networks and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) . You’ll be part of a high-tech, international team working at the forefront of telecom innovation. ️ Main Responsibilities

Define 5G Core Network system requirements for a multi-orbit satellite system .

Define the high-level software and hardware architecture of the 5G CN.

Prepare implementation and testing plans for proposed subsystems.

Provide technical oversight to subcontractors on :

Design & architecture

Requirements compliance

Development and validation

Support the integration of subsystems into the full system architecture. Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in the telecom industry .

Deep understanding of mobile network architecture :

Core Network (CN)

Radio Access Network (RAN)

Ancillary services

Strong knowledge of 5G Core Architecture .

Proven experience with 3GPP standards and implementation of Core Network subsystems :

Resource allocation

Service orchestration

Control plane interfaces

Experience in development and testing of 4G / 5G systems .

Expertise in virtualization and cloud platforms .

Understanding of satellite communications .

Experience in technology R&D project management .

Solid knowledge of 5G-NTN and New Radio Non-Terrestrial Networks .

EU nationality and willingness to undergo EU Secret Clearance .
