Job description
The PMBC team is in charge of the Strategic Procurement of the composites materials through the related MFT for the complete Airbus Group, through the Procurement Synergy Group.
The position proposed in the PMBC team is supporting the buyers role in various scopes linked to series production or future programs and offers you an opportunity to develop procurement skills in a motivating, challenging, innovating and creative technical context.
You will develop end to end business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost & EBIT contribution, looking at the big picture for your perimeter.
You will collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders based all over the world to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to our customers.
You will be at the heart of the development of the new technologies and products of future and existing aircraft.
Accountabilities
- You will be supporting the management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products.
- You will enforce compliance between contracts terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus.
- You will manage the alignment across the different Company functions (mainly Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering) for purchased products
- You will ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players and uphold the Company ethics and compliance standards in all your dealings
- You will be ensuring the implementation of the Composite Materials MFT strategy for future programs, and enforcing the compliance to the terms of the development agreements with suppliers and partners.
- You will manage and participate in strategic projects linked to the implementation of the Composite Materials MFT strategy for future programs as required.
Scope
The scope of activities may be linked to any technology under the MFT Composites and linked to ongoing or future programsYou will have a large number of interfaces including major multi-national suppliers and Airbus aircraft programs, Supply Chain, M&P, Customer Services, Quality, Finance, Costing and Legal teams.The location is Getafe in Spain, with travels both nationally & internationally mainly for supplier or internal meetingsMain activities

You will be asked to You will support the business continuity and further strategy in the case of any Airbus M&A under the scope of the MFT , looking for cost reduction initiatives, and execute them in close cooperation with the MFTYou will ensure the right management of development materials, and identify and implement improvement plans and strategiesYou will support development projects and participate in the governance and trades upon requestYou will ensure a proper control of development agreements (CRAs, SCA,) and lead unrelated negotiations when requiredOutputs

If you are able to demonstrate enough of the following skills or experience and you would like to develop the others do not hesitate to apply.
Hard skills :
Degree level in Engineering or Business school.Experience in Engineering, Programmes, Procurement Operations with efficient project management is a plus.Effective contract and international negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness.Experience in supplier relationship Management and Procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing external and internal stakeholders.Good technical understanding of composite materials and processes is a plusNegotiation level of English is requiredSoft skills :
