Automotive Research And Development Manager

We are hiring on behalf of our client which is a Chinese leading global automotive manufacturer. It is known for its strong focus on independent innovation, advanced research and development, and global expansion. The company has set up multiple R&D centers worldwide and holds thousands of patents, consistently ranking among the top Chinese vehicles exporters for over two decades. And they are now in the search of an executive with long experience in the automotive OEM in order to handle the R&D center in Spain.

Job description :

• Responsible for the territorial management of the Spanish R&D center.
• Responsible for local project management and promotion.
• Responsible for establishing a local adaptability development and validation system.
• Responsible for conducting market demand research in the local area and forming a localized development demand list.
• Responsible for localization certification of vehicle models and development of localized parts.
• Support the resolution of quality issues for vehicles models in the European market.
• Other tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements : Spanish citizen .

Language : Proficient in English and Spanish.

Education : Bachelor’s degree or above. (vehicles engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, or other related fields.)

Work Experience : 15+ years of work experience in automotive OEMs.

Skills & Abilities : Familiar with vehicle project development and verification processes, vehicle structure, and working principles; strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.

Special Requirement : Work experience with BBA OEMs (BMW, Benz, Audi) would be preferred.
