Position Overview
We are looking for a professional and comprehensive Human Resources Generalist to support—in a temporary assignment—a designated client group across the Iberia Region. The service will cover all generalist areas such as people strategy, talent development and succession planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct implementation of all People policies and procedures by providing accurate and timely guidance to management and staff.
- Design and follow up on the EOS action plans for the Region.
- Advise and guide managers on employee relations matters in accordance with Company policies, best practices and statutory requirements, including counsel on disciplinary, grievance and performance management matters.
- Manage the recruitment process for open-to-hire positions, including identifying key skills and critical success factors, completing recruitment authorization documentation, selecting appropriate recruitment channels, liaising with external resourcing partners as required, and shortlisting qualified candidates. Ensure job descriptions and candidate profiles are in place and that recruitment activity stays within budget and headcount controls.
- Manage the offer process, ensure compliance with Company policy, and provide contracts and documentation in a timely manner.
- Advise payroll of starters, leavers and changes in employee details, ensuring completion of required documents.
- Ensure delivery of new hire orientation and induction.
- Manage the annual performance management process, including talent review and salary planning, ensuring deadlines are met and information is communicated to employees within the timelines after approvals.
- Identify training and development needs with line managers and plan activities within budget.
- Prepare and submit monthly people reports detailing key activities, data and metrics (e.g., open-to-hire information, labor turnover, employee relations).
- Contribute to the development of improvements in departmental processes, procedures and reporting.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.Action oriented, resilient, and proactive problem-solving abilities.Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and balance priorities.3–5 years of generalist HR experience with exposure to HR management areas including employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee relations, legal, compensation and benefits, and employee development.University degree; computer literate.Sound working knowledge of Spain & Portugal employment law.Seniority level
