Overview
The Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) is seeking to incorporate an Admissions Interview Specialist to join the Admissions and Promotion Department. The selected professional will play a key role in evaluating candidates’ suitability for university admission, ensuring an ethical, comprehensive, and professional assessment that helps both the institution and applicants make informed decisions.
Mission The main mission of this role is to carry out the necessary tasks to assess the emotional, personal, and academic profile of university candidates, according to institutional and regulatory requirements. The position contributes directly to maintaining UCJC’s commitment to excellence, diversity, and student success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual interviews to evaluate candidates’ emotional and personal profiles.
- Assess aspects such as self-esteem, resilience, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Apply psychometric tools and methodologies aligned with university standards.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for the admissions decision-making process.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic view of each applicant.
- Participate in admission-related activities across UCJC campuses when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in Psychology or Education).Experience in student assessment, admissions, or counseling is highly valued.English level : B2.Solid IT skills : Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); knowledge of Salesforce CRM is desirable.Strong interpersonal and analytical skills : active listening, empathy, objectivity, ethical judgment, and cultural awareness.Contract and Schedule
Type of contract : Permanent.Work schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday (9 : 00–18 : 00 or 10 : 00–19 : 00, depending on workload).Work location : Based at Villafranca del Castillo Campus, with occasional presence required at Castellana and Almagro campuses (Madrid).#J-18808-Ljbffr
