Linux And Kubernetes Engineer

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Linux and Kubernetes Engineer to be based within the Madrid office.

Main responsibilities within the Linux and Kubernetes Engineer position include :

• This is a hands-on role working with a range of internal stakeholders.
• Primary responsibility is the operational management of Tradition's electronic trading platforms to ensure maximum system availability.
• To provide a secure and scalable technology platform.
• Monitoring, maintaining and supporting the underlying Linux, hypervisor and storage infrastructure.
• Dealing with requests and queries from both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
• To develop, maintain and follow operational guidelines for the support of current infrastructure.
• Assist with planning and implementing major projects focused around infrastructure architecture.
• Ensure compliance to Company & Regulatory requirements.
• Standard office hours 09 : 00-18 : 00, with occasional early starts (08 : 00) or late finishes (19 : 00-20 : 00) and some weekend cover (paid overtime – approx. once per month – mainly on Saturdays).
