Linux / Ansible Specialist

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Linux and Kubernetes Engineer to be based within the Madrid office.

Main responsibilities within the Linux and Kubernetes Engineer position include :

Monitoring, maintaining and supporting the underlying Linux, hypervisor and storage infrastructure.

Assist with planning and implementing major projects focused around infrastructure architecture.

Form part of a team rota to support weekday shifts from 07 : 00-16 : 00 and weekend work (approximately 1 a month).

Strong depth of proficiency in Linux, including Bash

Solid grasp of data structures & algorithms, e.g. patterns and RESTful APIs

Experience with Python, Ansible, Puppet and automation tools

Good network knowledge, e.g. protocols

Experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as; Nagios, Zabbix

OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana
