At NTT DATA we are currently looking for a

Network Specialist

to join our International Organisations team, and support critical infrastructure projects for international clients.

This role involves the

design, deployment, and operation of advanced network solutions

with a focus on

Cisco ACI, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and F5 technologies

The successful candidate will bring

strong expertise in network engineering, troubleshooting, and automation

, with proven ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install and configure network solutions (e.g. switches, firewalls, routers, load balancers, SDN solutions, VPNs, etc), primarily working on Cisco ACI and Checkpoint / Fortinet / F5 solutions.
  • Implement network maintenance routines and schedules, including upgrades and end-of-life replacements.
  • Implement and operate orchestration / automation tooling to maintain and extend network solutions.
  • Implement and operate network management, reporting and monitoring tooling.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network issues.
  • Implement network backup, restore, performance tuning and analysis.
  • Produce and maintain network technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of interest.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience on the networking field.
  • Network related certification which could include : Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and / or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and other vendor certifications.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure hardware and software components.
  • A network SME with extensive detailed design expertise.
  • Familiar with ITIL-based environments.
  • Strong analytical skills on the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network issues.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, by collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

    • EU security clearance eligible.

    Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
