Overview Engineering Director – Platform & Cloud Infrastructure

This position is based in Spain.

We are seeking a Technical Engineering Director to join our office in Spain. This leadership role involves overseeing cloud infrastructure development, managing a high-performing technical team, and implementing best practices in DevOps, MLOps, and cloud-based SaaS deployments. The role requires strong technical expertise in platform engineering, automation, and scalability.

Responsibilities Oversee cloud infrastructure development and operations

Manage a high-performing technical team

Implement best practices in DevOps, MLOps, and cloud-based SaaS deployments

Qualifications Master\'s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)

At least 5 years of industry experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure

Minimum 2 years leading DevOps and platform teams in a technology-driven company

Proven experience deploying SaaS applications to Kubernetes

Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms

Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform to support deployment, scaling, and management

Strong leadership skills, capable of managing teams of 10+ engineers

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Fluency in English and Spanish
