Aftersales Engineer

Location : Madrid, with availability to travel across Spain and Europe

At Chint Electric , a leading global manufacturer of electrical equipment, we are looking to hire an Aftersales Engineer for our T&D department.

This role will play a key part in supervising the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of large power transformers and GIS equipment, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power transformers and GIS equipment in various international projects.

Provide on-site technical service, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs, ensuring a fast and effective response.

Deliver technical and product training to customers, including maintenance procedures and fault resolution.

Collect, analyze, and report information regarding incidents and product quality, communicating Level I and II issues to the central team for management.

Manage returns and claims, coordinating inspections and material acceptance processes.

Prepare technical reports and process control documentation, and support the process of obtaining acceptance certifications from clients.

Control service-related costs (travel, spare parts, shipments) within the assigned budget.

Maintain technical and service relationships with regional and international customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

Comply with occupational risk prevention regulations and the company’s quality standards.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in technical services, installation, operation, and maintenance of power transformers and GIS equipment.

Fluent in English (minimum B2 level). French or Italian will be a plus.

Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office and management tools).

Valid B driving license and willingness to travel frequently across Spain and Europe.
