Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled Aftermarket Sales Engineer, reporting primarily to the LNG Manager, to manage and grow our aftermarket business across Spain and Portugal. This role focuses on sales of spare parts, field service, repairs, and upgrades for cryogenic pumps and systems, primarily in LNG segment. The eligible candidate must be located in Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Territory Management : Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory (Spain and Portugal), maintain a robust pipeline of business prospects, negotiate sale agreements, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understand customer needs, and maximize value from these relationships.
  • Product Knowledge : Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company\'s products or services to demonstrate value, answer inquiries, and address concerns.
  • Market Research : Conduct and analyze regional market research to understand competition, customer preferences, and identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the regional market to drive growth.
  • Sales Reporting : Track and report sales performance and strategies in Salesforce to forecast future sales.
  • Team Collaboration : Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve objectives and enhance the client experience.
  • Customer Service : Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction, addressing issues professionally and promptly.
  • Sales Training : Attend and possibly lead sales training and seminars to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Presentation Skills : Deliver engaging presentations to potential and existing clients, offering tailored product solutions.
  • Contract Negotiations : Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with customers.
  • Brand Ambassador : Represent and promote the company\'s values and products at events and trade shows.
  • Represent NCEIG functional AMS business unit in Spain and Portugal.
  • Monitor industry developments and report to management.
  • Promote all NCEIG NCS products portfolio, follow up, and share sales leads internally.
  • Documentation of activities in the CRM program (Sales Forces).
  • Other duties as assigned in line with above objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial or technical sales (preferably in cryogenics, pumps, or related equipment).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (required) including business and legal vocabulary. Any other languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Technical Sales, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Ability to work well with current team members at all levels.
  • Tenacity and a confident, persuasive self-starter with a drive to achieve results.
  • Leadership and contribution to team spirit.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in major projects or transactions; ability to read and understand bid / proposal specifications from technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.
  • Flexibility to travel.
