About the Role : This role leads the implementation of functional safety requirements in product development, in accordance with ISO 26262. They define risk analysis strategies, coordinate ASIL activities, and validate safety solutions. They act as a technical liaison with clients and auditors, ensuring product compliance with automotive safety standards. In a multicultural environment, they must have critical thinking, technical communication, regulatory leadership, and cross-functional management skills. Main Responsibilities : Define the policy and documentation required to ensure proper implementation of ISO 26262 at each stage of product development. Must be involved from the beginning of the project to establish the guidelines to be followed for products that require compliance with ISO 26262. Responsible for planning and coordinating functional safety activities across all phases of ISO 26262 throughout the product lifecycle. May delegate ISO 26262-related tasks within each working group to qualified personnel. Responsible for updating the safety plan and monitoring the progress of activities carried out in accordance with this safety plan. Must ensure that confirmation measures are performed at each development phase (such as documentation reviews, functional safety audits, etc.). During the production phase, must be notified of any incidents that could affect the product’s functional safety and must assess whether the risk requires specific actions. Comply with all provisions of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law as well as Environmental regulations. Comply with all provisions of the Data Protection Law. Comply with all provisions of criminal risk prevention and compliance regulations. Who we are looking for : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing in English and Spanish. An entrepreneurial spirit, anticipating and mitigating project risks, and dealing with issues in a practical environment. A cooperative mindset, enthusiastic to work in multidisciplinary. Knowledge of French, German, or Italian is a plus.
