Advanced Materials Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Junior Materials Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and engineering, with experience in laboratory work and material processing.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities Lead laboratory experiments for material development and testing.

Develop and maintain laboratory protocols and workflows.

Explore and optimize material processing techniques.

Analyze and interpret material behavior throughout the development stages.

Support material characterization and performance validation.

Contribute to production scale-up and integration into the system.

Document results and communicate findings to the team.

Collaborate with internal and external partners across different disciplines.

Requirements We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Master\'s degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical), or Science (Chemistry, Physics) with a focus on materials.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience or academic training in ceramic and / or glass material design, as well as familiarity with chemical and / or material characterization techniques.

Strong laboratory skills, experimental mindset, critical thinking, autonomy, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Familiarity with ceramic casting and powder / fiber processing techniques, knowledge of glass formulation or synthesis, and up to 2 years of experience in a similar role or research project are desirable.
