Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator who will be responsible for performing new OS builds and upgrading Windows Servers. Additionally, you will apply Windows Server patches and perform regular OS health checks.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include :

Performing new OS builds and upgrading Windows Servers

Applying Windows Server patches and performing regular OS health checks

Monitoring system performance and resolving operating system issues

Managing Windows file systems, clustering, and DFS

Administering file servers and secure file transfer solutions

Provisioning new servers and onboarding hosts as per requirements

Performing VMware VM administration, including snapshot management

Maintaining VMware ESXi hosts and performing scheduled maintenance

SUPPORTING day-to-day operations in both physical and virtual environments

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019. Additionally, you will need to have expertise in VMware ESXi 7 and virtual machine management.

You will also need to have knowledge of :

Windows Server patching and monitoring

Filesystem and cluster administration

File Server and DFS management

Secure File Transfer Protocols (SFTP, FTPS)

A basic understanding of Citrix and Microsoft Exchange environments is also desirable.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working as part of a global team, so you will need to be able to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
