Tax Manager

Overview This job is open to both internal and external candidates to the Iveco Group. Iveco Group is seeking a business and results driver Tax Manager to join its European Tax Team in Spain. This role will focus mainly on ensuring local tax compliance and supporting business and corporate clients for Spain, Portugal, UK and ROI.

Responsibilities Ensure and produce full compliance in national direct and indirect tax matters as a business partner and as governance function for driving compliant and efficiency in Spain.

Ensure tax reporting (IFRS) and accuracy of the numbers.

Provide best in class tax advises and recommendation to business and operational clients

Develop tax compliance management process and control framework in coordination with central and regional tax teams.

Take ownership and drive tax audits and associated regulatory public review.

Support Director Tax Europe in deploying tax projects and tax control framework.

Support Western Europe Tax Manager in communicating complex tax concepts in ways which are meaningful and useful to non-tax professionals.

Be active in exploring the collection of tax subsidies and incentives.

Collaborate with legal, accounting and treasury teams.

Properly and proactively monitor tax watch and tax advocacy.

Manage tax advisors.

Requirements Expert in Spanish tax regulations (direct and indirect) and a plus if Portuguese, UK ad ROI ones as well.

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with excellent sense of synthesis.

Strong organization skills, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Open-minded and team player.

Detailed oriented individual who takes ownership of projects.

Proficient knowledge of Spanish taxation (direct and indirect), a plus if also in Portuguese, UK and ROI one.

Strong experience in Tax audits and litigations.

Deep knowledge of direct and indirect EU tax regulations.

BEPS trained and focus.

Working knowledge of tax reporting (IFRS) and Tax controllership constraints.

Strong tax analytics expertise.

Fluent in English.

Proficient in Windows suite.

Knowledge of One Source tax software is a plus.
