Teads has an opportunity for a senior Marketing Manager who is passionate about technology, innovation, and online video advertising to join our Spanish team, based in Madrid. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of the Teads brand in Spain, including owning the communication strategy and marketing initiatives to broaden our visibility within the Spanish and Portuguese markets. The role will be directly responsible for ensuring Teads achieves strong commercial success.
Your main responsibilities will be to :
- Be responsible for driving the local marketing strategy in the region and work closely with the Spanish Managing Director and European Marketing Director on the local budget, including forecasting and tracking.
- Drive the creation of world-class marketing communications for Teads Spain across our brands, advertisers, agency clients, and publisher portfolio, including newsletters, campaign management, and external PR.
- Work closely with the local PR agency on a communication strategy including thought leadership, press releases, and comment opportunities.
- Ensure all communications are aligned with the global marketing strategy, including localizing material where relevant.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and publisher organizations to ensure marketing collateral and content are fit for purpose.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Teads' global events program, including associated marketing communications plans, ensuring responsiveness to stakeholder needs and preferences.
- Ensure events are delivered effectively, efficiently, and on budget, and measure success and ROI.
- Manage, develop, and implement Teads' presence at third-party exhibitions, working with partners to provide a cost-effective and impactful presence.
We are looking for an ambitious, self-starter who is passionate about marketing, able to manage multiple projects, and ideally has established connections within the AdTech and online advertising industry.
Experience / background
5-6 years of professional experience in B2B marketing, with knowledge of various communication activities such as media, websites, publications, social media, and events.Strong communication skills, including verbal and written, for preparing and presenting press releases in an advertising environment.Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.Experience collaborating with senior marketers at agencies and global brands, with expertise supporting sales organizations being an advantage.Extensive event experience and a successful track record of delivering across communication disciplines.Creative flair to generate fresh ideas and marketing campaigns from inception to delivery.Ability to work on diverse tasks simultaneously under pressure.Excellent organizational and planning skills, with experience managing communication projects end-to-end.Experience with social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, is an advantage.Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.Proactive, diligent self-starter with strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence internally and externally.At Teads, we blend creativity, technology, and data to shape the future of media.
