Job Overview : The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ESS projects from contract award through commissioning and final handover. This role requires close coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to Jinko’s high standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead ESS project execution across multiple phases : initiation, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost forecasts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, quality, and logistics.
- Monitor and control project performance, managing changes, risks, and issues proactively.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, EPCs, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and report progress to senior management.
- Oversee site execution activities and support commissioning and performance testing.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience managing renewable energy or energy storage projects (utility-scale preferred).PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.In-depth understanding of battery storage systems, power conversion systems, and integration with grid and renewable assets.Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, or similar project scheduling tools.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.Seniority level
