Designer - Womenswear and Girlswear

Our client is one of the largest clothing design and manufacturing exporters in India and a key supplier to Inditex as well as other customers in Europe. With design houses in India and Madrid, they pride themselves on staying abreast of fashion trends and innovations, including sustainable fabrics. They are now looking for a multi-product Designer to reinforce their design team in Madrid.

Designer - The Role :

• Developing collections with both knitted and woven fabrics, primarily for womenswear and childrenswear.
• Collaborating closely with design teams in Madrid and India to understand the core customer, market position, and key competitors.
• Creating mood boards, developing new fabrics and prints, and staying updated on current trends.
• Working on technical design packs under the guidance of the Head of Design (based in India) to produce commercially innovative designs.
• Traveling independently to client meetings approximately 3 to 4 times per year, depending on requirements.
