Descripción del trabajoExtensive experience in QA, including test automation. Strong understanding of automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.). Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JS / TS, or C#). Hands‑on experience with Git, API testing, CI / CD, and test management tools. Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and ability to work independently and lead by example. Fluency in English and Spanish. Experience with Docker / Kubernetes. Knowledge of performance and / or security testing. ISTQB certification or equivalent. Foster a safety culture and lead by example. Follow established safety procedures and report hazards promptly. Participate in safety training and adhere to preventive guidelines. Automation Engineer – QA Automation
Join Sage’s Barcelona team as a QA Automation Engineer . We’re building a large‑scale, complex software project and need a highly analytical, self‑driven engineer to design and implement a robust automation strategy.
Responsibilities
- Research and understand the existing system and QA landscape.
- Define and implement a scalable test automation strategy.
- Design, establish, and maintain a test automation framework.
- Automate regression and ongoing sprint test cases.
- Maintain and improve existing automated tests.
- Integrate automation with CI / CD pipelines.
- Mentor and support other QA engineers in automation practices.
