About the Role
This role focuses on providing technical support and ensuring the proper functioning of industrial automation systems. You will diagnose issues, assist with installations and maintenance, and work directly with clients to guide them in using their systems effectively. It’s a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with automation technologies, and supporting customers in the field.
Responsibilities :
Provide remote and on-site technical support (when necessary) for installed industrial automation systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot failures in automated systems and industrial equipment (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, among others).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and configuration of automation systems.
Work closely with customers, providing guidance on proper system usage and troubleshooting.
Ensure deadlines are met and the quality of services provided.
Identify opportunities for improvement in existing automation systems.
Prepare technical reports and documentation of the services performed.
Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams and customers.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree and / or technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, or related fields.
Previous experience in industrial automation and technical support.
Knowledge of control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, sensors, etc.).
Familiarity with industrial networks (Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet / IP, etc.).
Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in automated systems.
Good communication skills and ability to work directly with customers.
Availability to travel and flexibility to work at different installation sites.
Desired knowledge in PLC programming and automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
Fluency in English (minimum Intermediate level).
