Frontend react engineer

At Palatin, we’re hiring for a Frontend Engineer (React). This is a stable, long-term role with direct impact on the design, scalability, and performance of a high-traffic international digital platform.Location : Barcelona (hybrid work model)Contract : Permanent, full-timeSalary : Up to €65 K depending on experienceAs part of the frontend engineering team, you’ll work on complex, high-visibility projects that drive the user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, product, and Dev Ops teams to deliver seamless, performant, and maintainable web applications in a modern cloud-based environment.Responsibilities : Develop, test, and deploy web applications using React and Node.js extending and maintaining microservices.Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure scalability and high performance.Apply best practices in testing, code reviews, and CI / CD pipelines.Work with modern infrastructure (Docker) based on containers and cloud services, ensuring engineering ownership and flexibility.Operate in a cross-functional agile team with strong QA and Dev Ops collaboration.What we’re looking for : Solid experience with Java Script / Type Script / React.Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and testing skills with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.Familiarity with good programming practices and performance optimization techniques.Clean, maintainable code and collaborative mindset.English proficiency for collaboration in international teams.What we offer : Permanent contract with end-client and long-term projection.Barcelona-based hybrid model (2 remote / 3 on-site) with flexible work hours.Private health insurance and flexible benefits (transport, meals, childcare).Access to training platforms, including Linked In Learning, language courses, and internal tech training.A collaborative, international environment with diverse and talented colleagues.If you’re ready to make an impact and grow your career, get in touch!
