Job Description

Are you a seasoned HR leader ready to make a meaningful impact across a dynamic matrixed organization At Brambles / CHEP were looking for a Senior HR Manager who brings strategic insight strong leadership and deep HR expertise to drive business success and empower people.

Key Responsibilities May Include :

  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to develop and implement people and organizational strategies that enhance business performance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for all employees regarding HR queries ensuring timely resolution and where necessary direct interaction with HR Operations teams.
  • Build strong relationships with leadership teams providing coaching and advice on people-related matters to influence decision-making and promote employee engagement.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle from talent acquisition to retirement ensuring adherence to HR policies and collaboration with the wider HR team for seamless processes.
  • Lead the implementation of organizational design initiatives including workforce planning talent management and succession planning to support business objectives.
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting thorough investigations and driving cases to resolution maintaining compliance and mitigating risks.
  • Coach and mentor a team of HR professionals driving development and ensuring the team consistently meets organizational goals and HR best practices.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs ensuring alignment with broader business strategies and recommending improvements where necessary.

The Senior HR Manager Iberia serves as a strategic HR partner advising on key areas such as workforce planning talent acquisition employee relations performance compensation engagement inclusion & diversity recognition and learning & development. Leading a team of fiveincluding HR Managers Generalists and an ER Managerthis role acts as the primary HR representative for Iberia working closely with the Country Leadership Team to align people strategy with business goals.

About the Role

  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs ensuring alignment with broader business strategies and recommending improvements where necessary.
  • About The Person

  • Ability to operate effectively across a matrix and wide range of leadership styles being an effective influencer and persuasive spokesperson across the business.
  • Credibility and gravitas across strategic discussions at a senior level - Country Leadership Team Regional Leadership Team and European & Global HR teams.
  • Decision maker driven by objectives solutions and results.
  • A deep understanding of how businesses work with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Inspire guide and develop an HR team.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR solutions and programs.
  • Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum : Bachelors degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline.
  • Desirable : Post graduate qualifications in business or related disciple.
  • Progressive experience 5-10 years in Human Resources within multinational & matrixed companies.
  • Expertise as strategic HR Business Partner supporting global / regional business.
  • Demonstrated People leadership experience.
  • Proven record building high-performance cultures.
  • Skilled leading organisational change.
  • Strong background in Labour Relations.
