R1 - Researcher In The Field Of Mechanical And Thermal Engineering For Energy Storage Systems’

Description

: Power Systems group announces a position as Early Stage Researcher (R1) to work on different technical research projects in the fields of mechanical design and thermal control and management of experimental energy storage systems. The tasks to be carried out will be focused to development and testing of battery packs to operate in the energy system and electric vehicles. Additionally, experimental activities and set ups within IREC’s lab facilities are expected.

Qualifications and experience required

: Essential

: Bachelor or Master on industrial engineering or similar Experience in CAD design and simulation Knowledge on manufacturing and component design Preferred

: Skills in mechanical design and assembly processes Experience with thermal simulation Interest on battery systems Capacity to work on prototype development Personal skills

: Team Worker. Initiative and interest in Research and Innovation. Flexibility. Results-oriented. Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
