Job Description :
The EMEA Supply Planner will be based in Madrid, Spain. The EMEA Supply Planner will bring tactical expertise and strategic thinking to support a world-class demand-driven supply chain. We are looking for someone who understands the solar electronics, steel, and / or automotive industry, is a self-starter, and can strategize effectively to stay ahead of potential problems. The Sr. Planner will interact with leadership by simplifying complex problems and data to propose actionable solutions. You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team propagating renewable solar solutions regionally and globally.
Here is a glimpse of what you'll do
- Manage supplier allocations based on schedule, pricing, volume agreements, supplier capacity, and inventory levels.
- Analyze forecast and demand data to secure supply commitments and meet sourcing volume targets.
- Manage program planning activities for new US supplier ramp-up as needed.
- Analyze shipped and delivered orders for regional projects, identify gaps, and resolve them.
- Manage complex inventories using industry best practices to support working capital and service level targets.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Coordinate assembly BOM schedules with local manufacturing sites.
- Provide early alerts for supplier gaps and work with vendors on recovery plans to mitigate project delays.
- Drive on-time shipment (OTS) in partnership with delivery managers.
- Standardize supplier management practices and enhance data visibility from purchase order to pickup.
- Coordinate engineering sourcing, NPI, and logistics on production issues.
- Host weekly supplier meetings for updates on PO status, raw material forecasts, quality, procurement, and logistics concerns.
- Participate in quarterly supplier QBRs and provide feedback for mutual success.
- Support testing and adoption of Anaplan to expedite planning system transformation.
Here is some of what you'll need (required)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration; Master's preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.Experience in solar electronics, semiconductors, steel manufacturing, automotive, or heavy equipment industries preferred.Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, finance).Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Expertise in planning, forecasting, project management, with attention to detail.Advanced skills in planning software such as Anaplan and MS Excel; Power BI preferred.Comfortable working with large datasets, analyzing, and interpreting data.Ability to build, negotiate, and maintain relationships.APICS certification preferred.Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, global start-up environment.Experience with MRP systems.Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
