Engineering Leader

Overview Position : Engineering Leader

Reporting to : Head of Engineering, NPI & PMO

Position Objective Lead and manage the engineering team, including senior engineers, drafters, and quality experts. Ensuring :

Product safety standards and requirements are followed

Design quality requirements are met

On-time & On-Cost design deliverables

Key Responsibilities Oversee the design and development of new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.

Coordinate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of new designs and processes, as well as product standardization and modularization.

Provide technical information for the offers (concept design, materials, engineering hours, validation requirements, etc.).

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and support to team members.

Ensure the execution of engineering best practices, including Design Reviews, DFMEA, Stack-up analysis, and FEA.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and suppliers.

Act as a Project Manager at major projects (especially Wind business ones), interfacing with the customer and internal teams to coordinate proper execution / deliveries, ensuring those projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Ensure team commitment to company regulations (health and safety, compliance, environment, cybersecurity, etc.).

Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial preferred); Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management, preferably in the industrial or renewable energy sectors.

Strong knowledge of engineering best practices (e.g. DFMEA, Stack-up analysis, FEA).

Knowledge of CAD software, SolidWorks and Catia preferred.

Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams.

Experience of managing projects and multi-functional teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Fluent in English (mandatory)

Knowledge of basic office software (Outlook, Excel, etc.).

Experience working in a multinational company is preferred.

Experience in the design of lifting equipment and welding processes are preferred.
