We're looking for an Engineering Manager who can turn complex challenges into meaningful impact. You'll lead a team building the billing and business systems that power how creators all over the world earn, scale, and thrive with Manychat. With your blend of technical depth and people-first leadership, you'll help engineers grow, deliver high-quality features, and move fast without losing focus. You'll balance strategy and execution — from guiding architecture decisions to jumping in when things get real.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership : Guide architecture and technical decisions to ensure scalability and best practices. Identify roadblocks and implement solutions to keep teams on track.

Team Development : plan team growth, recruit, mentor, and motivate engineers while fostering a strong feedback culture.

Performance Management : Evaluate and enhance team performance through regular feedback.

Stakeholder Collaboration : Align with the Area Product Owner and Engineering Managers on a long-term strategy and OKRs.

Process Optimization : Improve workflows to elevate team efficiency. Lead the team through evolving challenges and drive innovation.

Hands-On Support : Participate in code reviews, system design, and occasional coding to coach the team.

3+ years of successfully leading and scaling cross-functional development teams with backend and frontend scope as an Engineering Manager.

Expertise in software development and architecture design, experience with high-load is a plus.

Familiarity with PHP 8.

Proven track record of improving development engineering processes and increasing team efficiency. Ability to foster trust-based relationships with the Product organization and Engineering managers.

Experience with Agile values and principles.
