Financial Reporting Officer

The Financial Reporting Officer is responsible for accurate and timely preparation, validation, and submission of various financial regulatory reports in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.

The role involves interpreting regulatory changes, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in different formats such as XML for authorities, including relevant tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Investigate and analyze variances or data inconsistencies independently, escalating material findings to management as appropriate.
• Research and interpret regulatory requirements, ensuring their accurate implementation within operational reporting processes.
• Liaise with business units to clearly communicate reporting requirements and collect the necessary data inputs.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and overall compliance.
• Contribute to internal projects related to regulatory changes, process optimization, or technology implementation.

Key Requirements :

A bachelor's degree in finance or a relevant field, with a strong understanding of financial products, is essential. Relevant experience in a similar position will be valuable. Proficiency in IT tools, specifically those used in banking / financial institutions, is required.
