Responsibilities As a Senior Analyst / Junior Associate in our Investment Banking team you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of M&A transactions and capital markets advisory.
Be responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing client presentations and contributing to the overall deal process.
Work directly with senior bankers, clients and external advisors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Develop and maintain complex financial models including DCF, LBO and trading / transaction comparable analyses.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, valuation metrics and key industry trends.
Lead the preparation of client presentations, investment memorandums and marketing materials.
Support the execution of live transactions including process management, due diligence, negotiations and deal structuring.
Assist in the origination and development of new business opportunities by conducting market and company research.
Work closely with senior bankers and clients providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as legal advisors, accountants and consultants.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts on financial modelling, presentation preparation and industry research.
Qualifications Education : Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field. CFA designation is a plus.
Experience : 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development or management consulting with strong financial analysis exposure.
Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, etc.).
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and key financial metrics.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, etc.).
Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities; strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present ideas concisely; ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously; high attention to detail and strong organizational skills; proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
