Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Credit Analyst at Senior Analyst level within the Structured Credit team based out of our Madrid office.

About the Team

Fitch's European Structured Finance team maintains existing ratings and assigns ratings to new structured finance transactions.

We are seeking a Senior Analyst level Credit Analyst to join the European Structured Finance team.

The successful candidate will be part of a team rating transactions backed by mortgage loans, consumer loans, and / or corporate loans, including leveraged loan CLOs.

The team analyzes transactions in line with Fitch's rating criteria and provides high-quality credit opinions to investors and market participants.

How You'll Make an Impact :

Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modeling.

Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers.

Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.

Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.

You May be a Good Fit if :

You are highly motivated and thrive in demanding roles.

You have some prior experience in finance.

Knowledge of securitization structures, especially CLOs, is beneficial.

You are highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skills.

The role involves analyzing legal transaction documents; no legal background is required, but you should be able to review legal contracts from a credit risk perspective.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.

Proficiency in other European languages is desirable.
