Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Senior cloud DevOps Engineer in IT infrastructure in AWS and / or AZURE, with capabilities to operate and evolve the current platform architecture for the API management platform based on Apigee by Google deployed in AWS, Azure, and On-prem scenarios.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Linux and multi-cloud system operations.

Your skills :

At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, S3, Route 53, ELB, CloudWatch). Experience with Azure is also appreciated.

Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.

Solid foundation in networking and administration of GNU / Linux systems, particularly with Red Hat and CentOS distributions.

Previous knowledge of Apigee is an advantage, including its components architecture such as Zookeeper, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL installation topology configurations.

Basic experience with designing and developing REST APIs.

Knowledge of API-related concepts such as OAuth / SAML security, throttling, caching, logging, and HTTP request / response modifications. Ability to learn and utilize a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.

Valuable requirements :

Certifications in Red Hat or other Linux-based system administration.

Architecture / SysOps AWS Certifications are a plus.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on multi-cloud environments (AWS and / or Azure).

Collaborate to define and improve platform topology infrastructure.

Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure as code.

Ensure configuration and compliance with corporate policies and tools.

Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.

Support troubleshooting across systems communicating through cloud and on-premise networks.

Build and maintain operational tools for monitoring and analyzing cloud infrastructure (e.g., CloudWatch).
